“ON THE FLY”

Public history is about then, but it’s also about now. A lot has happened since NCPH’s call for session proposals closed last July. Here’s your chance to shape cutting-edge conversations at the conference and help us cover important issues that might otherwise be missing on our 2018 program.

NCPH seeks brief proposals for discussions to be held onsite at our 2018 conference in Las Vegas this April 18-21. These “On the Fly” sessions are informally structured conversations, held in meeting rooms during blocks of regular conference programming. Attendees can discuss current events or issues that feel especially timely, important, or forward-looking.

To propose a topic for an “On the Fly” discussion, read the full Call for Topics and submit the form by March 16.

OPTIONAL TOPIC PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

The Topic Proposal form closed on June 1, 2017. Check out the 48 topic proposals we received at http://ncph.org/phc/2018-annual-meeting-topic-proposals/ – just click “View Proposals” on the left-hand sidebar and click on individual proposals to read and comment!

SESSION PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

The Call for Proposals is now closed. All session proposals were due July 15, 2017 at 11:59 pm EDT. Proposers will be informed of their acceptance in mid-September. Please note that all accepted presenters must submit a non-refundable registration fee for the annual meeting within 6 weeks of their acceptance notification to secure their space on the Program.

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

All workshop proposals were due July 15, 2017 at 11:59 pm EDT. Proposers will be informed of their acceptance in mid-September. Please note that all accepted presenters must submit a non-refundable registration fee for the annual meeting within 6 weeks of their acceptance notification to secure their space on the Program.

Call for Posters

The 2018 Call for Posters is now closed. Submissions were due Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 11:59 pm. Proposers will be informed of their acceptance in early November. Please note that all accepted presenters must submit a non-refundable registration fee for the annual meeting within six weeks of their acceptance notification to secure their space on the Program. Call for Working Group Discussants

The 2018 Call for Working Group Discussants is now closed. Applications to join a working group group were due Sunday, October 15, 2017. Discussants will be notified of their acceptance by November. Please note that all accepted presenters must register for the annual meeting within 6 weeks of their acceptance notification to secure their space on the Program.

Call for Pop-Ups

The 2018 Call for Pop-Ups is now closed. Submissions were due January 26, 2018. Proposers will be notified about the status of their pop-up by mid-February.
