CONFERENCE HOTEL

The 2018 annual meeting will be held at the Renaissance Las Vegas Hotel. The NCPH room rate is $149/night* for a single or double room. The cut-off for the group rate is Thursday, March 29, 2018 or when the block is full, whichever comes first. Update as of 2/9/2018: Our block of rooms at the Renaissance Las Vegas is fully booked on every night but Saturday, April 21. Thank you for booking our block! If staying at the conference hotel is a priority for you, there is availability at the Renaissance outside the NCPH block for a slightly higher rate.

NCPH has secured an overflow block at the nearby SpringHill Suites at the rate of $149/night. The block is open through March 5, but we expect it to fill, so don’t wait! Book the block online here or call 1-800-MARRIOTT and request a reservation at the SpringHill Suites Las Vegas Convention Center under the group name National Council on Public History.

Update as of 2/28/2018: Our overflow block of rooms at the SpringHill Suites is now full on several nights. If you’d like to be emailed with updates should rooms open up in our main block at the Renaissance Las Vegas due to cancellations, please email Meghan Hillman at [email protected].

Las Vegas has plenty of available hotel inventory, so finding a room that fits your needs should not be too difficult! The conference hotel is located on the same block as the Las Vegas Convention Center monorail stop, so hotels along the Strip are easily accessible to the Renaissance via the Las Vegas Monorail if getting around Las Vegas without a car is of concern.

*Note that when booking online, a $20/night destination amenity fee appears in addition to the $149/night room rate and other service charges. Per NCPH’s contract with the Renaissance, our attendees will not be charged this fee; they just don’t have a mechanism to remove the text from their reservations system. Your final bill at the hotel will not include this destination fee.
