CONFERENCE venue and HOTEL block

The Connecticut Convention Center in Hartford, CT is the main location for NCPH 2019 conference sessions and events. The National Council on Public History has secured a block of rooms at the Marriott Hartford Downtown (connected to the Convention Center) for NCPH 2019. The NCPH room rate is $179/night for single or double occupancy. Reservations must be made by March 6, 2019. Please note that the block may fill before this date;

To reserve a room, click here or call (877) 901-6632 and request a room in the National Council on Public History’s block.

Update 2/6/19:  Our room block is close to full! As of today there are still rooms available on all nights, 3/26-3/31. However, we are getting reports that the online link to book is glitchy and is returning no results for certain stretches of nights. If you’re still having trouble booking, please email Program Manager Meghan Hillman at [email protected] with more details.

Update 2/13/19:  Our room block is currently full on Thursday, March 28. We are working on options with the hotel; check this page for updates!

Update 3/1/19: We were able to secure a few more rooms on Thursday, March 28–you should be able to book using the online link until these rooms are full.  Our block closes on Wednesday, March 6, so don’t wait!
