The Presence and Persistence of Stories

March 8-27, 2021 – Virtual

Session recordings from Virtual NCPH 2021 are now uploaded to PheedLoop! Those, and access to the unstaffed exhibit hall and posters, are available to anyone who didn’t attend the conference for a set price: $25 for members and $45 for nonmembers. If you registered for the live event, you can access recordings via your PheedLoop login at any time. Please email NCPH at [email protected] if you need us to re-send your access email.

We partnered with the Society for History in the Federal Government (SHFG) to bring you several of their sessions, as they are not hosting a 2021 meeting. The SHFG-sponsored panels are marked in the conference Program and will be recorded and posted on their YouTube page after the meeting.

NCPH was awarded a National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) Chairman’s Grant this year. Funding from this grant will enable us to support and provide programming for our members as they adjust and respond to a changing public history climate created by the COVID-19 crisis. We thank NEH for this grant and for sponsoring the NCPH Virtual Meeting. Any views, findings, conclusions, or recommendations expressed during the meeting do not necessarily represent those of the National Endowment for the Humanities.

Registration Information

post-conference access to ncph 2021 recordings are now available for purchase via this link.

In addition to twenty five pre-recorded sessions and individual presentations, lightly-edited recordings for over forty live sessions from NCPH 2021 are now available in the conference platform. The exhibit hall and posters are also available, though they are no longer staffed. Attendees who registered for the conference have access to recordings for no additional charge; everyone else can register for post-conference access using the link above. Access to PheedLoop will be granted within 72 hours, and recordings can be found in the “Recorded Sessions” tab on the left-hand sidebar.

Please click through to check out the digital Program for Virtual NCPH 2021. While working groups, workshops, live Q&As, and networking events were not recorded, most live concurrent sessions March 18-20 and March 25-27 are available in recorded form.

Note that by signing up for recording access you agree not to share recordings beyond the conference platform; they are the intellectual property of presenters and cannot be shared without their permission.
