Public history consultants create a wide range of products: narratives, prospectuses, technical reports, analyses, exhibits, lectures, multi-media presentations, digital projects, field trips, tours, events, and more. This area of “History@Work” draws on the consultant community to articulate what they perceive as worthy commentary, initiatives, projects, products and how-to models that should inform public history practice across the board. Building on existing conversations, the Consultants Corner of the blog invites dialogue about the conditions of the marketplace while reiterating practitioners’ commitment to:
- Delivering premier historical services of recognizable excellence
- Fostering entrepreneurial and innovative spirit
- Informing educational and professional organizational development
