Program Introduction

The public history track at Rutgers University-Camden provides students with hands-on experience and skills needed to build a career in public history working at museums, archives, historical sites, and other public-facing institutions. Based in the Cooper Street Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the program's faculty have extensive connections with organizations throughout New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and the greater mid-Atlantic region.
