The Exhibits Coordinator develops, monitors, and maintains physical and digital exhibits in the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign’s interactive heritage museum, the Richmond Family Welcome Gallery at Alice Campbell Alumni Center. The Welcome Gallery features exhibits on more than 130 topics about the U. of I.’s past, present, and future, and the Exhibits Coordinator collaborates with the Welcome Gallery’s Curator and Collections Manager to create new exhibits, serves as a specialist for the Welcome Gallery’s audiovisual media, and ensures that guests have an educational and entertaining visitor experience.

This will be a hybrid role, reporting to the Alice Campbell Alumni Center in Urbana, IL, four days per week and working remotely one day per week. However, in specific situations it may be necessary for the Exhibits Coordinator to report to the Alice Campbell Alumni Center on remote workdays (for example, to fix a malfunctioning exhibit).

Salary Range: $55,000-$60,000/year
