The McFaddin-Ward House Museum seeks a Collections Manager who will be responsible for the care and management of the Museum’s permanent collection.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the care, handling, storage, and preservation of collection objects, ensuring adherence to professional museum standards.
• Maintain and manage accurate physical and digital records, including provenance, condition reports, inventories, and movement documentation.
• Coordinate the packing, transport, and inventory of objects for exhibitions, reconciling discrepancies across physical objects, permanent files, and digital records.
• Develop and maintain collections management policies, procedures, and disaster preparedness plans.
• Support interpretation and public access through research, exhibitions, educational initiatives, and outreach.
• Adhere to institutional ethics and human resources policies.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary: $45,000/year
