The Director of Exhibits is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the planning, interpretation, design, and implementation of rich, artful interactive experiences that communicate MCM’s brand and values through exhibits on site at the museum and its outreach exhibits, partnerships, and external collaborations. The Director of Exhibits creates a climate for creativity, collaboration, and innovation in exhibit design that supports young children and families. This position is building on a rich history of leadership in sustainable exhibit design and collaborations with artists. The Director of Exhibits oversees strategy, project development, community engagement, design, budgets, organization, fabrication, installation, evaluation, maintenance, and dissemination of all exhibition projects, including internal, contracted, exhibit partnerships, and new capital projects, to meet the museum’s mission, and strategic priorities. The Director of Exhibits is responsible for coordination and oversight of exhibit research, exhibit sales and rentals, and external projects, working with a wide array of local artists, designers, fabricators, researchers, and community partners.

Salary Range: $75,000-$95,000/year
