The Deputy Museum Administrator plays a critical role in planning, coordinating, and directing the work of multiple key areas – including curatorial, marketing, business, financial management, and information technology. Serving as a subject matter expert in Japanese history, language, and culture, and ensuring adherence to museum principles and practices, this role works under the general direction of the Museum Director in advancing the mission of the institution.
