NCPH 2026 Award Winners

Please join us in congratulating this year’s award winners in a number of public history formats, including public history project, book, The Public Historian article, grassroots public history, consulting, and more! This year’s Robert Kelley Memorial Award, honoring people or organizations who have succeeded in making history relevant to the public, goes to the Humanities Action Lab (HAL), which has collaborated to produce community-curated public humanities projects in forty cities and counting. We’ll recognize all of the winners at the NCPH Awards Breakfast on Sunday morning, September 19, at our joint conference with the American Association for State and Local History.
