The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) is seeking an Environmental Project Planner II/III – Historical Studies to join our Environmental Affairs Division in Austin. This position offers a unique opportunity to help deliver transportation projects that connect communities while protecting Texas’ historic places and cultural heritage.

In this role, you will evaluate potential impacts to historic resources, coordinate environmental compliance efforts, collaborate with engineers and planners, and work with regulatory agencies, consulting partners, stakeholders, and the public to develop solutions that balance infrastructure needs with preservation goals.
