Seed Education Consulting is a museum education, interpretation, and evaluation consultancy based in Boston, Massachusetts and led by Elisabeth Nevins.
Seed-Ed collaborates with staff at museums and historic sites to create empowering and engaging learning experiences with their visitors that are grounded in mission, reciprocal need, and organizational resources.

Elisabeth Nevins has held education staff positions at Revolutionary Spaces, Old North Illuminated, Connecticut Museum of Culture and History, and Lower East Side Tenement Museum. She serves as a peer reviewer for the Journal of Museum Education and co-edited three issues. Her essay “The Past as a Brave Space: Reframing Relevance” was published in The State of Museums: Voices from the Field from MuseumsEtc in fall 2018.
Nevins holds a B.A. in history from Yale University and an M.S.Ed. in museum education and early adolescent education from Bank Street Graduate School of Education where she currently teaches in their museum studies program. She speaks regularly on issues in the field for Boston-area museum studies and public history programs.
