Digital Initiatives Coordinator
The Digital Initiatives Coordinator plays a key role in expanding access to unique materials in the SDSU Archives and Special Collections. This role oversees digitization projects and digital preservation activities and supports records management initiatives. The coordinator will also have opportunities to explore emerging practices that enhance discovery, preservation, and use of digital collections. This position is located in Brookings, South Dakota, and is a 12-month, full-time, benefits-eligible position. Occasional nights and weekends may be required.
As part of the Hilton M. Briggs Library, the SDSU Archives and Special Collections preserves and provides access to more than 11,000 linear feet of archival collections and rare books that document the history, culture, and life of the university and region. Through its collections and services, the archives fosters research, learning, and connections with the university and broader community.
The salary range for the Digital Initiatives Coordinator is commensurate with qualifications, minimum of $47,000.
