When assigned to Museum Storytelling Coordinator:

• Oversees research, curation and content of museum exhibits.
• Develops knowledge-base of City history and acts as community historian. Responds to public research inquiries, provides access to museum collections and serves as an ambassador and representative of the museum.
• Oversees existing artifact, archival and research collections and their growth.
• Leads museum digital initiatives and development of collection policies and procedures.
• Manages and maintains historical, artifact, conservation, conditions and donation records as well as assists facility management to ensure collection preservation.

When assigned to Museum Education and Public Programs Coordinator:

• Oversee, develop program curricula and learning goals for all public facing (pre-k, child, family and adult) programs, at all museum facilities
• Conceptualize, plan, and execute educational activities, including school group visits, summer camps, workshops, and public programs that align with museum exhibitions.
• Develop and oversee field trip programs for all museum facilities in conjunction with local school district representatives
• Oversee the development of interactive aspects of exhibitions (e.g., interpretive materials) and ensure programs align with educational
• Analyze visitor feedback and program effectiveness to report findings to stakeholders and improve future.
• Manage, train, and schedule education staff, educators, docents, and interns, including hiring and conducting performance evaluations.

Salary Range: $73,819.20-$106,995.20/year
