Program Introduction

The Public History Minor, housed in the Department of History and Political Science, draws on the strengths of the MCLA History program and Arts Management program to provide students with training in a variety of relevant subjects as part of their bachelors degree. The required internship provides an opportunity for students to tap into the many museums across the Berkshires or to work with a site close to home in the summer. Recently established (2016), this growing minor graduates approximately 3 students annually.
