Program Introduction
Established in 2017, the Master of Arts in Public History and Heritage Interpretation at the Srishti Institute of Art, Design and Technology is a unique multi-disciplinary program, the first of its kind in India, that will not only train students in public history but also train them in a larger range of practices that focus on visual culture, aesthetics, literature, geography, folk cultures and language studies. Anchored by the Center for Public History at Srishti, the two-year program admits ten to fifteen students each year. The MA degree is awarded by the University of Mysore.

How Many Students are Admitted Annually

Internship Requirements
Students will intern at the Centre for Public History (CPH) on one of the many public history projects that CPH runs. They will also have the option of working with other reputed institutions that work with heritage. The internships will be paid.
Job Placement Assistance
The Center for Public History's wide client base will enable students to find suitable employment opportunities after the completion of the program in the institution, corporate, museums, heritage, or education sectors.
