Program Introduction
The Department of History of the Chinese University of Hong Kong was founded in 1963. The MA Programme in Comparative and Public History was launched in 2004, which represents a latest development in the Department. This programme promotes studying history of ordinary people, and analyzing history from different angles. Approximately 1150 students have graduated from the programme, with a current average of 107 students graduating annually. These students have different educational backgrounds, but share a common goal – to broaden vision and enrich perspectives in their careers and daily experience by enrolling in a good MA Programme in history.
