Program Introduction
Since its founding in the 1970s, the University of Vermont Historic Preservation Program has taken a broad-based approach to preparing graduate students for careers in historic preservation and cultural resource management. Students enroll in the graduate program each fall and complete their MS degree in three semesters. Students typically have undergraduate degrees in History, Architectural History, or other majors. Options for in-person and remote instruction are available.
