Project Details
In a project for Professor Jim Fleming's Digital Projects in History class, my goal was to make the history of each individual building on Colby's campus available to all online, which was previously not available. By working with Colby's Special Collections department and Academic IT Support, I created a website that attracts hundreds of views a month on the history of Colby College (located in Waterville, Maine).

This website began as my final project for ST235 Digital Projects in History with Jim Fleming. With this project, I aim to produce an informative website or photo book of the history of the buildings and facilities at Colby. With the support of Jim Fleming, I was able to take up the project as an independent study for Spring 2020. The goal of my independent study was to finish the project and continue to go through archives, find more images, and update and improve the website in all ways. With help from Cat Ledue and Jim Merrick at Special Collections at Colby, I was able to research more buildings and find more relevant material for my website. Despite the COVID-19 crisis, I have still been working on uploading and improving the website from home and meeting bi-weekly with Jim to stay on track and have outside criticism.
