Project Details

Launched in 2008, Indiana Memory is our statewide digital library for Indiana’s cultural heritage, with collections developed through collaboration with libraries and cultural heritage institutions across the state. Available freely online through a web portal, researchers can search over 400 collections and 500,000 items developed by over 150 partners.

Indiana Memory has over 150 partners, including the Indiana Historical Society, Indiana Unversity-Purdue University Indianapolis (IUPUI), Indiana Album, and numerous public libraries and historical societies across the state. Federal Library Services & Technology Act (LSTA) funds and state funds provide financial support for the project.
