Project Details

The Florida Heritage Project is a collaborative, educational, and public resource meant to enrich our understanding of the immigrant contributions to the state alongside that of generations of Native American and African American populations. Through the lens of cross-cultural contacts and community building, the digital public humanities Florida Heritage Project draws on the state of Florida’s rich multiculturalism to create a partnership between the general public, the state’s arts institutions, local libraries, historical societies, and the academic community and to highlight the state’s long history of ethnic diversity.
