The 2017 Canada’s History Forum sets out to remind the public that in this complicated and constantly changing age, history is more relevant than ever. On Tuesday, November 21, speakers from throughout North America will make the case for history. They will reflect on their experiences as public historians and educators and discuss why history is essential for understanding the complex issues that face us today. Speakers include National Council on Public History members Tim Grove and Jean-Pierre Morin.

This event will run from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm Eastern Time and is being hosted by Canada’s History Society in collaboration with the National Council on Public History. All NCPH members are welcome to attend in-person at the Canadian Museum of History, or to watch the live stream online. This event is open to the public, and there is no admission fee.
