Seeking Award Nominations by Nov 1

NCPH wants to honor exemplary work that uses history to understand our present and work towards a better future, and we need your help! 

Read a good book lately? Write a good book lately?

NCPH is looking for books that are about – or growing out of – public history theory, study, or practice. Books must be published in 2016 or 2017. The winner will be presented with a $1,000 cash prize at the 2018 NCPH Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Who inspires your work in public history? What organizations are impacting their communities by applying history to the present?

The NCPH Robert Kelly Award honors distinguished and outstanding work by individuals, institutions, non-profits, or corporate entities who make history relevant to the everyday lives of people outside of academia. A $500 cash prize will be awarded to the winner at the 2018 Annual Meeting in Las Vegas, Nevada.
