Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum (JPPM) is seeking candidates for its 2027 JPPM Collections Internship.

JPPM is conducting a major collections project that will result in the disposition of duplicate museum collections and objects in poor condition. The intern will learn about the practice of deaccessioning and expedite the project by assisting the JPPM Curator. Major areas of training will include artifact handling, artifact inventory, spreadsheet and database management, image file management, and deaccessioning best practices. The internship will culminate with the completion of the artifact inventory and supporting deaccession documents.

Hourly Rate: $18.00 per hour; not to exceed $7,200

Internship Length: 400 hours to begin on or about February 2^nd, 2027
