Registration rates for AASLH-NCPH 2026 have been set to compromise between the needs and expectations of NCPH’s and AASLH’s communities and to price the conference between NCPH’s usual lower rates and AASLH’s usual higher ones. They are priced as low as feasibly possible while ensuring both organizations can cover expenses and staff-time. 2026 rates are as follows:

Registration Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How do I register for the conference?
A. AASLH and NCPH are using Pheedloop to manage online registration, the conference app, and onsite badge-printing. Register now via https://site.pheedloop.com/event/AASLHNCPH2026/home.

Q. I’m an NCPH member. How can I get the member rate?
A. Pheedloop will ask you for your email address when you begin the registration process. Make sure to use the email connected with your NCPH membership to register. If you have forgotten which email that is, or Pheedloop is not recognizing you as a member, please email NCPH at [email protected] so we can assist!

Q. I’m an NCPH member at one of the subsidized membership rates (public history adjacent; grassroots public historian; un-/under-employed). Which tier selection do I make to register?
A. Select the “AASLH or NCPH Student or Subsidized Rate” option. (If you’re an individual, sustaining, retired, or new professional member, select “AASLH or NCPH Individual Member” option.)

Q. Can I renew my membership at the same time?
A. Unfortunately, this year the joint conference necessitated a joint registration system, and therefore we are not able to process membership and registration at the same time. We recommend joining as a member of NCPH first; your member registration rate will be available within 72 hours.

Q. Where can I find the most up-to-date version of the program?
A. The Preliminary Program is posted here. We will be doing monthly updates to the program between now and the final pre-registration deadline, and we’ll let you know of new additions with each update so you don’t miss out on anything! (If you’ve spotted a typo or something that should be edited, don’t be shy: email NCPH Program Manager Meghan Hillman at [email protected].)

Q. What will my registration cover?
A. The base registration fee—the rate listed in the table above—covers all concurrent sessions and working groups, access to the exhibit hall, a number of breaks featuring food and beverage, keynote and plenary addresses, and any events and receptions which have no associated additional fees (these will be marked in the Program). Offsite events, some onsite receptions, tours, and workshops have additional fees so we can cover the additional associated expenses: more robust food and beverage, transportation, honorariums and facilitation fees, etc.

Q. Who will be managing registration, and where can I register?
A. As primary administrators for the conference, AASLH is managing registration. You can register using this link: https://site.pheedloop.com/event/AASLHNCPH2026/home
