Project Details

A platform for cities, museums, libraries, and urban explorers. Urban Archive creates technology that enhances collection engagement and digital storytelling and extends the reach of cultural organizations by providing them with collaborative tools to share local history.

Urban Archive was launched in 2016 in New York City with three institutional partners. As of early 2021, the Urban Archive platform (both iOS app and web app) has more than three dozen NYC partner organizations and has expanded to three more cities (including Cali, Colombia).
