Project took an estimated 400 hours of work. The GIS specialist created a project-specific map; he also trained the historian on how to use the story map software. Research, writing, and editing took approximately 6 weeks of work, spread out over a longer period of time. This project would have taken longer if the historian had started from scratch, but this is one of a number of efforts to interpret this particular part of the county's history for the public.
