Contract Publications and Marketing Coordinator

The Publications and Marketing Contractor for NCPH supports this international organization's print and digital publications (primarily the quarterly newsletter and blog) and works closely with volunteers to promote public history and to strengthen NCPH as an association. The position is fully remote and pays $22/hour with no benefits, with an 18-month contract with possibility for renewal or promotion to full-time staff. Approximately three-quarters of the duties involve publications support. The other quarter involves marketing and social media support. A successful applicant will commit to working at least twelve of their twenty weekly hours between 9 am and 5 pm Eastern time Monday through Friday to ensure continuity with in-person NCPH staff; the other eight hours can be worked during evenings or weekends as the candidate prefers.
