HOTEL INFORMATION
All conference activities and sessions (unless otherwise noted in the Program) will be held at the Hilton Salt Lake City Center in downtown Salt Lake City, Utah.
Our group room rate is $205 per night; you can book at this rate between April 6 and April 17, in case you want to extend your stay a few days in either direction beyond the conference.

The cut-off date for reservations is March 19, 2024. The block is likely to fill before that date, especially on peak nights, so we encourage you to book as soon as you are ready to make your travel arrangements.
Why book the block?
We know you can probably find a cheaper room or Airbnb than our group rate at the Hilton, and if that’s what you need to do to be able to attend the conference, please do that without a moment of guilt. However, if your employer is paying or you can afford to book in our block, we encourage you to please do so. We must fill 80% of our block in order to avoid attrition fees, and our contract with the Hilton includes concessions predicated on filling the block (like complimentary rental for meeting space). Conversely, if we don’t fill the block, we have to pass along additional costs in other spots (like registration rates) just to cover our costs for the conference. This is part of an elaborate balancing act that helps us keep costs for attendees as low as possible while meeting your expectations for a great conference. Thanks for booking our block!
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS
NCPH and UHS will be monitoring COVID-19 in the Salt Lake City area and are following guidance from state and local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding large gatherings. This includes following CDC recommendations on preventing the spread of COVID-19. We are taking these measures to assure the 2024 conference is as safe as possible for attendees and for the local community.
At this time, we believe masks and vaccines/boosters will be optional but recommended for NCPH-UHS 2024. However, if the situation changes, we may revise this policy and communicate with attendees about why. If a registrant must cancel due to COVID-related illness, NCPH will issue a full refund for their registration fees. If you are sick or feeling you are getting sick, we insist that you stay home.
NCPH will revise these protocols as needed based upon local conditions and the guidance of the local health department and/or CDC.
