Public History Educator’s Meet Up Series

The Public History Educator’s Meet Up is an informal, 45-minute Zoom gathering, centered on an organizing question or theme. The meet ups will allow our great community of public history educators from around the country to connect with each other, collaborate on challenges, celebrate triumphs, and continue to inspire each other. They are a short break in the middle of your week to be with your peers.

Our next meetup is Wednesday May 17, 2023, at 11:00 am PST/2:00 pm EST. Our theme is Public History in Politicized Environments. Come discuss the political attacks on academic freedom and the teaching of race, gender, and sexuality. We will consider possible individual and collective action, including documenting what’s happening across the country and NCPH advocacy. . Attending is free, but please register here to save your spot and receive the Zoom link.
