- The National Archives released full datasets of the National Archives Catalog archival descriptions and authority records, as well as the entirety of the 1940 census, to the public
- Urge Congress to increase funding for the humanities by taking action for the National Endowment for the Humanities and the National Archives

- Applications for The History Makers’ “2021 Faculty Innovations in Pedagogy & Teaching Fellowship” are due April 30, 2021
- The deadline for Humanities Texas’ “2021 Winter Storm Recovery Grants” is April 30, 2021
- Applications for the National Park Service’s “Battlefield Interpretation Grants” are due May 5, 2021
- The American Council of Learned Societies is offering their “Leading Edge Fellowships,” due May 6, 2021
- The National Endowment for the Humanities is offering two “American Rescue Plan” grants: one for “Humanities Grantmaking,” due May 13, 2021, and one for “Humanities Organizations,” due May 14, 2021
- The deadline for the American Historical Association’s 2021 awards and prizes nominations is May 15, 2021
- The Digital Preservation Outreach & Education Network is accepting applications for “Professional Development Funding” and “Emergency Hardware Support” funding on a rolling basis until June 2021
- Applications for the National Endowment for the Humanities and the Arts and Humanities Research Council’s “New Directions for Digital Scholarship in Cultural Institutions” grant are due July 8, 2021

- Meridian and the National Endowment for the Humanities calls for paper proposals for their virtual “Global Humanities Symposium on Cultural Diplomacy” on June 11, 2021 (deadline is April 30, 2021)
- The Mountain-Plains Museums Association calls for poster proposals for their conference, “Breaking Barriers, Building Bridges,” in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, US, October 5-8, 2021 (deadline is April 30, 2021)
- Washington University in St. Louis calls for proposals for their “Black 1968” virtual conference in the fall of 2021 (deadline is May 1, 2021)
- The Society for Georgia Archivists calls for session proposals for their virtual annual conference, October 20-22, 2021 (deadline is May 15, 2021)
