From Around the Field this week: The Institute of Museum and Library Sciences offers multiple grants; The Ad Hoc Group for Transformative Oral History Practice, in collaboration with the Oral History Association and the Oral History Center at UC Berkeley, calls for proposals for their symposium; Museum Mindshare offers virtual programs.
ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The National Park Service awarded $569,086 in grants to preservation projects working with American Indian Tribes and native Alaskan and Hawaiian communities.
- The Council of State Archives released their biennial survey of state archives and records management programs in the United States.
- The Oral History Association’s contract with Middle Tennessee State University will be over at the end of 2022, and they are searching for a new institution or organization to house its executive office.
