ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The Assessment of Measures and Metrics for Public Services (AMMPS) Sub-Committee of the Reference, Access, and Outreach Section (RAO) of the Society of American Archivists (SAA) is conducting a survey of academic, governmental, corporate, and public archives, libraries, museums, historical societies, and other institutions utilizing the 2018 Standardized Measures and Metrics for Public Services in Archival Repositories and Special Collections Libraries which will close on February 28, 2021
- Imagining America invites applications to participate in their “Stories of Change Documentary Project” by March 10, 2021
- The American Association for State and Local History is accepting responses to their “National Visitation Survey for History Organizations” now through March 31, 2021

- The National Park Service’s “Battlefield Preservation Planning Grants” applications are due February 12, 2021
- The deadline for the National Trust for Historic Preservation’s 2021 awards nominations is February 15, 2021
- The American Historical Association’s research grant applications are due February 15, 2021
- The deadline for the Society of American Archivists’ “Philip M. Hamer and Elizabeth Hamer Kegan Award” and “Waldo Gifford Leland Award” applications is February 28, 2021
- Applications for the American Alliance of Museum’s “2021 AAM Annual Meeting Scholarship” are due March 3, 2021
- The deadline for the Carl & Marilynn Arts Foundation’s “Digital Changemaker Grants” is March 11, 2021
CONFERENCES AND CALLS
- The National Trust for Historic Preservation calls for session proposals for their “PastForward National Preservation Conference,” November 2-6, 2021 (deadline is February 15, 2021)
- The American Historical Association calls for proposals for their annual meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, US, January 6-9, 2022 (deadline is February 15, 2021)
- The Organization of American Historians has extended their proposal deadline for their hybrid virtual and in-person annual meeting in Boston, Massachusetts, US, March 31-April 3, 2022 (deadline is February 17, 2021)
- The Museum of Fine Arts, Houston will host their virtual “David B. Warren Symposium” February 26-28, 2021
- The American Social History Project/Center for Media and Learning at the City University of New York Graduate Center will host “An NEH [National Endowment for the Humanities] Summer Institute for College and University Teachers” virtually June 28-July 14, 2021 (application deadline is March 1, 2021)
- Early Bird Registration is now open for the American Alliance of Museums’ virtual “2021 AAM Annual Meeting and MuseumExpo,” May 24 and June 7-9, 2021 (Early Bird ends March 3, 2021)
- The University of California-Berkley’s Oral History Center offers a two-day virtual “Introduction to Oral History Workshop,” March 5-6, 2021
- Registration is now open for Ohio Local History Alliance’s regional meetings, starting on March 6, 2021
- The National Humanities Alliance will host their virtual annual meeting and Humanities Advocacy Day, March 8-11, 2021
