ANNOUNCEMENTS
- The American Association for State and Local History prepares for the commemoration of the 250th Anniversary of the United States
- The Organization of American Historians has appointed Beth English as the organization’s new Executive Director
- The House Appropriations Committee awarded $170 million (an increase of $7.75 million from 2020) to the National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) for the 2021 fiscal year
- The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation has awarded Michigan State University a grant of $550,000 to support the first phase of their On These Grounds project
- Dr. Jane I. Seiter hosts a new podcast Preservation Profiles from the National Preservation Institute, produced by Hannah Hethmon/Better Lemon Creative Audio

- The Indiana Historical Society calls for session proposals for the Midwestern Roots 2021 conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, on July 30-31, 2021 (submissions are due August 10, 2020)
- The American Society for Environmental History has postponed their April 2021 Conference
