From Around the Field this week: NCPH and other organizations release statements on the overturning of Roe v. Wade; the American Association for State and Local History accepts applications for scholarships for their annual meeting; the Organization of American Historians offers a webinar on Dobbs v. Jackson.

- NCPH has released a statement on the overturning of Roe v. Wade. Many other organizations have released statements, including the American Alliance of Museums, the National Women’s Studies Association, and the Oakland Museum of California
AWARDS AND FUNDING
- The American Association for State and Local History is accepting applications for the Douglas Evelyn Diversity Fellowships and the AASLH Small Museums Scholarship, due June 30, 2022
- The Western History Association is accepting nominations for the Louise Pubols Public History Prize, due June 30, 2022
- The State Historical Society of Missouri is accepting nominations for the Missouri Book Award and the Lewis E. Atherton Prizes, due June 30, 2022
- The Mid Atlantic Regional Archives Conference calls for nominations for the Arline Custer Memorial Award by July 31, 2022
- Nominations for the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) and US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 2022-2023 ACHP/HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation are due August 15, 2022
- The Albert Lepage Center for History in the Public Interest at Villanova University is accepting applications for five Climate Change in Historical Perspective Grants, due August 31, 2022
- The State Historical Society of Missouri is accepting applications for two Center for Missouri Studies Fellowships, due September 6, 2022
- The Organization of American Historians’ 2023 awards cycle is now open, with nominations for most awards due October 1, 2022

- The New York State History and Education Conference calls for proposals for “History Fights Back!,” in SUNY Oneonta, New York, US, October 28-30, 2022 (deadline is July 15, 2022)
- The National Trust for Historic Preservation will hold the PastForward National Preservation Conference virtually, November 1-4, 2022
- The Missouri Speakers Bureau is seeking applicants for the 2022-2024 program cycle, which will begin November 1, 2022 (deadline is August 1, 2022)
- The Coalition of Master’s Scholars on Material Culture calls for papers for the virtual symposium, “Tools of the Trade,” November 19, 2022 (deadline is October 14, 2022)
- The American Society for Environmental History calls for proposals for their annual conference, “Transformations: Reckoning, Resistance, and Reparations,” in Boston, Massachusetts, US, March 22-26, 2023 (deadline is July 15, 2022)
