NCPH, with support from the American Council of Learned Societies, is now taking applications for participants in a 2025 yearlong virtual working group whose task will be to develop a cohesive and comprehensive strategy for NCPH’s accessibility efforts—both internally as a membership and professional organization and in the ways we can support our members in centering disability history and disability justice in their work.Read More
Via our cooperative agreement with the National Park Service (NPS), the National Council on Public History (NCPH) is seeking letters of interest for two upcoming historical research and writing projects. If selected we’ll ask project historians to join NCPH for the duration of your contract, but you need not be a member to submit a letter of interest. Read More

We’re seeking discussants for ten working groups, which will work virtually for the next six months and then convene in person at our annual meeting next March 26-29 in Montréal, Québec, Canada. Group facilitators (already selected, along with the topics) will lead their discussants through a conversation around a specific problem or issue of shared concern, with the aim to create an end product for the public history community.
