THATCamp

9 a.m. – 5 p.m., April 18, Milwaukee Hilton City Center.   Join us for an exciting one-day THATCamp, offered as a workshop during the National Council on Public History/Organization of American Historians 2012 Annual Meeting, and explore the intersection of digital technology and public humanities.  THATCamps (The Technology and Humanities Camp) are participatory events where people learn from each other and work on actual projects directly applicable in their own institutions, companies, and programs.   With a program that will emerge directly from the interests and skills of participants, the event reflects the kind of collegial spirit that public historians bring to their own work.  More details about the event can be found online athttp://ncph2012.thatcamp.org.  Registration is $30 and closes on April 1.

To register for both the NCPH/OAH annual meeting and THATCamp NCPH, complete the OAH/NCPH annual meeting registration form.  If you plan to attend only THATCamp, it is not necessary to pay the OAH/NCPH conference registration fee. Those wishing to register for THATCamp only can complete this special version of the registration form.  You may also call (812) 855-7311 and register for THATCamp only over the phone.
