- The Society for History in the Federal Government’s survey for the Public Education Project is open until August 15, 2020
- The Smithsonian, Library of Congress, and National Archives count down to the 100th anniversary of women’s suffrage with stories told through social media
AWARDS and FUNDING
- The deadline for nominations for the Association of Midwest Museums’ awards program is August 31, 2020
- Applications for the Ohio History Fund’s 2020-2021 grants are due October 1, 2020
- The submission deadline for the Organization of American Historians’ Stanton-Horton Award for Excellence in National Park Service History is December 1, 2020
CONFERENCES AND CALLS
- The International Research Conference calls for papers for their International Conference on Museum Studies and Public History in Rome, Italy, on October 18-19, 2021 (deadline is August 13, 2020)
- NCPH has extended our deadline for topic proposals for the 2021 Annual Meeting to August 15, 2020
- The DC History Center calls for paper proposals for their virtual DC History Conference, “Echoes,” on November 12-13, 2020 (deadline is August 31, 2020)
- The Southern Historical Association calls for proposals for their 87th Annual Meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana, on November 3-6, 2021 (deadline is September 15, 2020)
- Submissions for the Society for American Archaeology’s 86th Annual Meeting in San Francisco, California, on April 14-18, 2021 is now open

- The White House Historical Association hosts “The Turning Point: Parades, Protests, and the Women’s Suffrage Movement” as part of their Facebook Live series on August 11, 2020
- The Society of California Archivists holds their “Tell Us How UC It: Thinking Critically through a Living Archive for Student Activism” webinar on August 18, 2020
