- The National Park Service’s Historic Preservation Fund is accepting applications for several grants, due on multiple dates in December or January
- The American Council of Learned Societies is accepting applications for their ACLS Sustaining Public Engagement Grants, due December 7, 2021
- The American Historical Association, in partnership with the National Endowment for the Humanities, is accepting applications for their Grants to Sustain and Advance the Work of Historical Organizations Program, due December 14, 2021
- The National Endowment for the Humanities is accepting applications for their Public Scholars grant, due December 15, 2021
- The Organization of American Historians is accepting submissions for their Stanton-Horton Award for Excellence in National Park Service History, due December 15, 2021
