From Around the Field this week: Nominations for two American Association for State and Local History awards open; the National Park Service wraps up applications for its Save America’s Treasures grant program.
AWARDS AND FUNDING
- The National Park Service is now accepting applications to its Save America’s Treasures grant program through December 12, 2024
- The Society for History in the Federal Government is accepting 2025 award nominations through December 15, 2024
- The 2025 Society for History in the Federal Government Awards are now open for submissions until December 15, 2024
- The Fitch Foundation is now accepting applications for 2025 fellowship and grant funding, with a deadline of December 16, 2024
- The National Trust for Historic Preservation is seeking nominations for their National Preservation Award through January 10, 2025
- The National Endowment for the Humanities invites Chair’s Grant requests of up to $30k to support free Juneteenth events. Apply by January 15, 2025 for consideration
- The William L. Clements Library at the University of Michigan is accepting applications for 2025-2026 research fellowships, which will be undertaken between June 1, 2025 and May 31, 2026. Apply by January 15, 2025
- The Black, Indigenous, & Trans of Color Histories Lab is seeking applications for four Humanists-in-Residence through January 17, 2025
- The National Endowment for Humanities Division of Education Programs is accepting applications for the 2025 Landmarks of American History and Culture program for K-12 educators and for higher education faculty and/or humanities professionals through February 12, 2025. Drafts are accepted for feedback to [email protected] by January 6, 2025
- The American Association for State and Local History is accepting preliminary nominations for their Award of Distinction through February 1, 2025
- The Society of American Archivists is accepting nominations for their Mark A. Greene Emerging Leader Award through February 28, 2025
