• The American Historical Association presents their second annual Summer Reading Challenge for 2023
• The Public Education Project is looking for volunteer writers for their Historical Education Initiative, a series of short animated videos on U.S. government agencies beginning July 4, 2023

• The National Endowment for the Humanities is accepting applications for the Public Impact Projects at Smaller Organizations grant program, due June 28, 2023
• The Federation of State Humanities Councils and National Humanities Alliance are accepting applications for NHC Equitable Access Grants to the 2023 National Humanities Conference, due July 8, 2023
• The Maryland Historical Trust is accepting applications for the African American Heritage Preservation Program, due July 17, 2023
• The Mid-Atlantic Regional Archives Conference is accepting submissions for the Arline Custer Memorial Award, due July 31, 2023
