ANNOUNCEMENTS

• NCPH topic proposals for the 2023 conference in Atlanta, Georgia are due June 15, 2022
• Organization of American Historians (OAH) previews Call for Proposals for 2024, including a virtual conference series in collaboration with NCPH. (NCPH will release our own CFP for this virtual series later this year.)
• The American Association for State and Local History has announced its 2022 Leadership in History Award winners

AWARDS AND FUNDING

• The Western History Association is accepting nominations for the Louise Pubols Public History Prize, due June 30, 2022
• The State Historical Society of Missouri is accepting nominations for the Missouri Book Award and the Lewis E. Atherton Prizes, due June 30, 2022
• The Mid Atlantic Regional Archives Conference calls for nominations for the Arline Custer Memorial Award by July 31, 2022
• Nominations for the Advisory Council on Historic Preservation (ACHP) and US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) 2022-2023 ACHP/HUD Secretary’s Award for Excellence in Historic Preservation are due August 15, 2022
• The State Historical Society of Missouri is accepting applications for two Center for Missouri Studies Fellowships, due September 6, 2022
• The Organization of American Historians’ 2023 awards cycle is now open, with nominations for most awards due October 1, 2022

• The Oral History Association and the Oral History Center at the University of California Berkeley will hold their virtual symposium, “Assessing the Role of Race and Power in Oral History Theory and Practice,” June 27-29, 2022
• The Indiana Historical Society will hold the Midwestern Roots conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, US, July 15-16, 2022
• The Association of African American Museums will hold their 44th Annual Conference in Miami, Florida, US, August 10-12, 2022
• The Society of Georgia Archivists calls for proposals for their annual meeting, “Sustaining Archives: Practical Solutions for the Future,” at the Jekyll Island Club, Georgia, US, October 25-28, 2022
• The New York State History and Education conference, “History Fights Back!,” will be held at SUNY Oneonta, New York, US, October 28-30, 2022
• The Missouri Speakers Bureau is seeking applicants for the 2022-2024 program cycle, which will begin November 1, 2022 (deadline is August 1, 2022)
• The Coalition of Master’s Scholars on Material Culture calls for papers for the virtual symposium, “Tools of the Trade,” November 19, 2022 (deadline is October 14, 2022)
• The National Council for History Educators seeks proposals for their conference, “Freedom From, Freedom To,” March 23-25, 2023 (deadline is September 26, 2022)
• NCPH calls for proposals for the 2023 conference, “To Be Determined,” in Atlanta, Georgia, US, April 12-15, 2023 (deadline is July 15, 2022)
• The Agricultural History Society calls for proposals for their annual meeting, “Agricultural Pasts of the Climate Crisis,” in Knoxville, Tennessee, June 8-10, 2023 (deadline is September 15, 2022)
