- NCPH and several other organizations have endorsed the American Historical Association’s Statement Opposing Exclusion of LGBTQ+ History in Florida
- Continuing their historic preservation project focused on memorials, the Mt. Zion Memorial Fund will dedicate a memorial to the blues artist, Jim Jackson, in Hernando Memorial Park Cemetery, Hernando, Mississippi, US, June 3, 2023

- The National Trust for Historic Preservation is accepting applications for the Diversity Scholarship Program, due June 1, 2023
