ANNOUNCEMENTS
- NCPH’s Consultants Committee will host their virtual, “Grumpy Hour,” November 14, 2023 from 7:00 – 8:30 pm Eastern
- The National Committee to Explore LGBTQ+ Site-Based History encourages participants in their survey by mid-November
AWARDS AND FUNDING
- The Newberry is accepting applicants for their fellowships, with long-term fellowship applications due November 1, 2023 and short-term fellowship applications due December 15, 2023
- The National Historical Publications & Records Commission is accepting applications for three of their grant opportunities: Archival Projects, Public Engagement with Historical Records, and Publishing Historical Records in Collaborative Digital Editions. All three have deadlines of November 2, 2023
- The Rockefeller Archive Center is accepting applications for their 2024 Research Stipend through November 3, 2023
- The Institute of Museum and Library Services is accepting applications for six of their grant programs: Museums for America, Inspire! Grants for Small Museums, Museums Empowered, National Leadership Grants for Museums, Museum Grants for African American History and Culture, and Native American/Native Hawaiian Museum Services. Applications for all six are due November 15, 2023
- The Texas Historical Association has opened the application cycle for their 2023 – 2024 Awards and Research Fellowships, applications are due on or before November 15, 2023
- Applications for American Historical Association’s Annual Meeting Travel Grants are due on November 15, 2023
- The Higher Learning program of the Mellon Foundation calls for grant concepts, exploring Democracy, Environmental Justice, and Social Justice, registration ends on November 30, 2023
- The Institute for Citizens & Scholars is accepting applicants for the Mellon Emerging Faculty Leaders award through December 1, 2023
- NCPH is accepting applications for six of our awards; our Outstanding Public History Project, Grassroots Public History, Excellence in Consulting, New Professional, Student Project, and Graduate Student Travel awards all have application deadlines of December 1, 2023
- Cornerstone: Learning for Living calls for humanities project applications for their grant program, deadline is December 15, 2023
- The American Council of Learned Societies is accepting applications for their two Digital Justice Grants, Digital Justice Seed Grants and Digital Justice Development Grants, through December 15, 2023
- The Women’s History Institute of Historic Hudson Valley calls for applications for their Summer Research Fellowships, due December 15, 2023
- The National Park Service is accepting applicants for their Save America’s Treasures grant program until December 19, 2023
