ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Preservation Maryland completed a statewide LGBTQ Heritage Context Study
- Ali Kane, Grants Manager of Tower Hill Botanic Garden, and Sam Dinnie, Research Associate at the Phelps-Hatheway House & Garden, created a Facebook page to support LGBTQ+ Museum Staff & Students
- The American Association for State and Local History created a survey, “History in Our Parks Task Force Survey,” to identify needs and challenges of working in a history-related entity
AWARDS AND FUNDING
- The Linda Hall Library’s fellowship applications are due January 15, 2021
- The New-York Historical Society offers a variety of 2021-2022 fellowships, the deadline for most of which is January 15, 2021
- Save America’s Treasures offers two grants in preservation and collections, closing January 26, 2021
- The National Park Service’s “Battlefield Preservation Planning Grants” applications are due February 12, 2021
- The deadline for the Carl & Marilynn Arts Foundation’s “Digital Changemaker Grants” is March 11, 2021

- The Missouri Conference on History calls for papers and proposals for their 2021 virtual conference, March 10-12, 2021 (deadline has been extended to December 4, 2020)
- The American Association for State and Local History calls for proposals for their annual conference in Little Rock, Arkansas, US September 22-25, 2021 (deadline is December 18, 2020)
- The West Virginia Association of Museums calls for proposals for their 2021 conference, “Stayin’ Alive: Sustainability, Relevance, and Culture,” in Bridgeport, West Virginia, US March 25-27, 2021 (deadline is December 31, 2020)
- The Massachusetts Historical Society calls for papers for their 2022 conference, “Underrepresented Voices of the American Revolution,” in Boston, Massachusetts, US July 14-16, 2022 (deadline is January 4, 2021)
