In search of a label

,

As the dust settles on a wonderful joint conference for NCPH and OAH, the editors of History@Work would like to introduce what we hope will become a semi-regular tradition.  We invite you to clear your minds, open your eyes (or, in the future, perhaps your ears as well) and take a stab at responding to our first “In Search of a Label” post, offering your first impressions, free associations and guesses at significance. This week’s images were taken by Cathy Stanton outside the Frontier Airlines Center.  Feel free to read her insightful article about the Center as a jumping-off point, but don’t worry too much about digging for context.  We’ll provide a more detailed analysis in a few days.  Think of it as the dessert to anticipate as you whet your appetite with our occasional teaser.  Have fun!  We look forward to reading your responses.
