2013 NCPH Election Results Elected to the Board of Directors were Denise Meringolo (Univ. of Maryland, Baltimore County), Jill Ogline Titus (Civil War Institute at Gettysburg College), and Anne Mitchell Whisnant (Univ. of North Carolina at Chapel Hill). Elected to the Nominating Committee: Priya Chhaya (National Trust for Historic Preservation) and Patricia West (National Park Service). Congratulations! And thank you to all of the individual candidates who agreed to allow their names to be placed on the ballot.

From The Public Historian to Social Media and Back Representatives of The Public Historian and NCPH met in Santa Barbara last Friday to plan an “Integrated Public History Publishing Program” that fosters critical review and conversation among NCPH members—as well as concentric circles of other audiences—who use the journal, History@Work and the Public History Commons, H-Public, Public History News and PHNUpdates, our social media sites, and the NCPH Annual Meeting. We’ll offer a progress report and seek your input at an open forum at the annual meeting: “The Future of Publishing and Communication, from TPH to Social Media” (10:30 a.m., Saturday, April 20).
