NCPH CONFERENCE UPDATES

  • Hey Girl, Public History Ryan Gosling is back!  The creators of Public History Ryan Gosling will be presenting in Ottawa about the use of popular culture to engage online audiences.  (Session 15, Thursday, 10:30am)  Check out the first of the fun new images they’ve created here and follow their live-tweeting onsite with #PHRG2013.
  • Final Conference Program Available.  A PDF of the updated print version of the Program, which will be handed out onsite in Ottawa, was posted today.
  • 2013 THATCamp NCPH.  NCPH’s previous THATCamps have been great successes–productive days in which people from all over the public history field got together to share ideas and plan projects. Join us for our third camp, in Ottawa.
  • Get Out, See Things.  Spaces are still available in our three Saturday bus tours!  Visit the Diefenbunker: Canada’s Cold War Museum, or Horaceville, a colonial estate picturesquely situated on the banks of the Ottawa River, or spend the day visiting sites up and down the Rideau Canal!  Bus tours include lunch.
