“ON THE FLY”

A lot has happened since NCPH’s call for session proposals closed last July and the 2019 NCPH Annual Meeting Program Committee made their selections in August. We have reserved space for important issues and discussions that might otherwise be missing on our 2019 program due
to the eight-month gap between the primary proposal deadline and the conference itself.

NCPH seeks brief proposals for discussions to be held onsite at our 2019 conference in Hartford, Connecticut this March 27-30. These “On the Fly” sessions are structured conversations held in session rooms during blocks of regular conference programming, providing space for attendees to discuss current events or issues that feel especially timely, important, or newly-relevant.

To propose a topic for an “On the Fly” discussion, read the full Call for Topics and submit the form by Feb 21.

OPTIONAL TOPIC PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

Our topic proposal option is a way for those interested in submitting a proposal for our 2019 conference in Hartford, Connecticut to seek feedback on a preliminary idea or get in touch with possible co-presenters in advance of filling out a complete proposal form. Topic proposals were due June 1, 2018 at 11:59 pm local time. Read and comment on this year’s topic proposals by July 1!

SESSION PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

The Call for Proposals for our 2019 meeting in Hartford, Connecticut is now closed! Thank you to all who submitted. All session proposals were due July 15, 2018 at 11:59 pm. Proposers will be informed of their acceptance by mid-September. Please note that all accepted presenters must submit a non-refundable registration fee for the annual meeting within 6 weeks of their acceptance notification to secure their space on the 2019 Program.

WORKSHOP PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

The Call for Workshop proposals is now closed; proposals were due July 15, 2018 at 11:59 pm. Proposers will be informed of their acceptance by mid-September. Please note that all accepted presenters must submit a non-refundable registration fee for the annual meeting within 6 weeks of their acceptance notification to secure their space on the 2019 Program.

The Call for Posters is now closed; submissions were due Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 11:59 pm. Proposers will be informed of their acceptance in early November. Please note that all accepted presenters must submit a non-refundable registration fee for the annual meeting by December 12, 2018 to secure their space on the Program. Call for Working Group Discussants

The Call for Working Group Discussants is now closed; submissions were due in mid-October. Working group facilitators will make their decisions and applicants will be informed by late October. Please note that all accepted working group discussants must register and pay for the annual meeting by December 12, 2018 to secure their space on the Program.

CALL FOR POP-UPS

The Call for Pop-Ups is now closed; submissions were due January 20, 2019 at 11:59 pm. We are soliciting proposals for pop-up exhibits, activities, and skills labs to set up in the exhibit hall over the course of the 2019 Annual Meeting in Hartford. We introduced this pop-up proposal process in 2017 and found that attendees appreciated the opportunity to take part in less formal programming while spending time in the exhibit hall. This is a great opportunity for presenters to get on the program in Hartford and share their work or knowledge with fellow NCPH attendees in a casual, visual, and interactive way.
